Hilton Expoforum: Russia’s largest, most modern business and cultural venue

Situation

In year 2011 Hilton Hotels & Resorts approached LWA to assist them in designing a modern, luxury hotel set within Russia’s largest exposition centre. As a multifunctional complex, the Hilton ExpoForum in St Petersburg needed to offer guests the first-class style and comfort for which Hilton Hotel & Resorts are famous, as well as, exceptional spaces for hosting meetings and other large events.

Outcome

LWA created guest rooms which offered both comfort and convenience. All rooms were decorated in calm tones and fitted with a large, ergonomic desk allowing guests to unwind or catch up on work. Suites in the Hilton Expoforum were designed with added touches of opulence including separate seating areas and marble bathrooms.

Meeting rooms ranged in size from 12 person meeting rooms to a 400 person capacity ball room. Regardless of their size, LWA were successful in creating spaces that are conducive to the needs of a first-rate, flexible, contemporary meeting room.

The hotel’s stylish bar and two vibrant restaurants provide a sophisticated setting for guests to relax and socialise. The Light Bar features a stunning light sculpture; creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the celebrated White Nights for which St Petersburg is famous.
