Park Inn Riga Residence: A home away from home

Situation

Radisson wanted LWA to create a “home away from home” for guests staying at their Park Inn brand of hotel in Riga, Latvia. In total, LWA were responsible for creating a comfortable and desirable interior for each of the hotel’s 79 apartments.

Outcome

The Park Inn Riga Residence doesn’t have the layout of a traditional hotel meaning we needed to make some necessary alterations, such as the erecting of interior walls. However, we didn’t view the unusual footprint as being a problem; rather we made it a strength of the hotel.

By embracing the uniqueness of the hotel, LWA succeeded in creating an incredibly interesting interior that, whilst fulfilling the traditional needs of guests, was also truly memorable. The hotel’s lobby has a variety of seating spaces to welcome guests and make them feel settled from the moment they enter the building. Dashes of colour create a sense of fun amongst the chic interior. The urban styled apartments are incredibly stylish and designed with modern, luxurious furnishings - giving guests a home they wished was theirs every night!
